The UroLift® System

An enlarged prostate held open with tiny implants — no cutting, no heating, no removal of tissue.

What it is

Lifting the prostate aside, rather than removing it.

UroLift is a minimally invasive treatment for an enlarged prostate (BPH) that takes a mechanical approach. Rather than cutting, heating, or removing prostate tissue, it uses small permanent implants to lift and hold the enlarged tissue out of the way — opening the channel that urine flows through.

The implants are placed during a short in-office procedure. Because no tissue is cut or destroyed, many men experience rapid symptom relief and a quick return to normal activity.

UroLift is particularly valued for its strong record of preserving sexual function, making it an appealing option for men with mild to moderate BPH who want effective relief without the trade-offs of more invasive surgery.
